Details have been added to the SIMALIVE website for the ITALY tour at: 8:15 Pm GMT on the: 3rd JANUARY 2006

Server details:

Oceania server - http://www.wspilots.com/index.php?page=12

==================
We now have a teamspeak server for the Simalive tours. This teamspeak server is also shared with the SimV gaming clan aswell.
We have our own section in the server which is separate from the rest, called "Simalive".

If you wish to Join this section, the password  is: simalive

It is up to you whether you decide to use the server or not. One reason i thought we could use it is because it will be easier, and we wont be interupting other flyers on the servers we go on.

If you wish to use it the teamspeak server address is:

  66.29.7.121:9157

==================

Hopefully see you there. - Any more questions give me a PM, or visit the Simalive forums from the main simvalive website.

Cheers.

Hi Lads...!
As this is a long'ish trip, our Jimbo suggested using the Beechcraft Air King 350...
Now this little baby is fine and dandy for going very fast...
..the problem I always have is stopping the bleedin' thing...!!!
It has a pair of those new-fangled turbo-prop engines, which take
FOREVER
to slow down prior to landing... Shocked...!
...and even if you do manage to land, you are likely to run off the end of the bleedin' runway before you finally come to a standstill... Cry...!
This normally terrifies all the passengers...
..and involves a lot of mess to clear up afterwards...
...so...
If you don't mind...
I will be using the Turbo version of my trusty Beechcraft 58 TC, (Top Cat)... 8)...!
Pretty nifty in the air, and easy to land...
...close the throttle and it quickly slows down...as all good piston props should do... Grin...!

There you go, my hearties...
Fozzers infinite faith in good, old fashioned, piston props.. (Carburettors of fuel injected)...or even Turbo Charged...Wink...!
LOL...!

Cheers Lads...!

Paul The Piston Man...8)...!
(Jordan is also in favour of the piston method)... Wink...!
LOL...!

Fozz, are you using the reversers when you land the Kingair?
If not, use them, it helps...a lot. Smiley

Tee-Flippin'-Hee

The Joystick throttle only shuts them down to minimum RPM...!
..by the time I have taken my eyes off the scene in front of me, juggled with the mouse to reverse the props, I have buried the nose into  the ground, wiped out my nose-wheel, and deposited all the passengers into my cockpit...
...where it gets very crowdy...  Cry...!
LOL...!

Paul...bleedin' turbo props...I HATE the bloody things... Angry...!
LOL...!

As you touchdown on the runway, hold down F2 instead of pulling the levers in the cockpit/vc back via mouse (I presume that's what you're doing because you said"....juggling with vthe mouse....." ??)

Hope this helps Smiley
