1.0 IntroductionNorth Star Airlines started in 1999 when Aero American Atlantic and UK Aer merged to become Aero UK Atlantic. In 2002, Aero UK Atlantic was taken over by Highland Car Shuttles due to money problems. This lasted up until 2004 when Highland Car Shuttles changed their name to North Star Shuttle. In early 2005,
North Star Shuttle was forced to suspend operations due to safety issues until two wealthy Brtish men bought the company and renamed it North Star Airlines. All aircraft were sold off and fines were repayed. North Star Airlines had been given a fresh bit of health.
