This is my first post (2nd attempt) so forgive me if I screwed something up.  

System Specs: 3.0 Ghz Dual Core, GeForce 7800 GTX, 4 GB RAM, Windows XP SP2.

Really nice 'from the cockpit' shots of some great looking scenery....

I don't think you screwed anything up   Cheesy but people typically try to get their posts as close to 600x800 as they can without deforming them. Mine for example are 750 wide and up to 600 high depending on if I crop or not.

Also, people vary from 5 shot posts with each pic as close to 100kb as they can for maximum beauty and impact... or more pictures more compressed but still aiming for the 500 kb limit. I wouldn't just set 50% compression for each because some need more than others....and some pics I want to look better than others...

That's all I can think of...

It seems that you missed the upload specs.....if you go to the upload page which is available from the "upload images" link (in the blue bar near the top) on each page of the forums, you'll find that linking to an outside site is not permitted here and that uploaded images need to be no more than 800x600 pixels and less than 100 kb per image......500 kb per thread......
