All right!  Two of the three are default aircraft, and the third is fairly common already.  I was expecting at least one military jet!

So, do we have a date for the race yet?

When choosing the planes do you consider the poor 56k user who cannot download 28Mb/26Mb of seafire because his connection disconnects after 2 hours to stop him downloading large files. I can only download 25Mb!!!!

Oh well Ill try

Mic, I can break the Seafire file down into several smaller pieces and send them to you that way if you want.  Just put them back together at your end and you'll have the same result as if you'd downloaded the .exe file in the first place.

I thought we'd ruled out the FPS heavy AH Seafire after the Innsbruck race? - If it's gonna be used then I might aswell not even bother starting the race. Innsbruck was only about a 30 minute race & I lost 10nm just through freezes caused by about 8 FPS heavy Seafires.

Before I grab my virtual paintbrush, are we using the Seafire IIC or the LIII?

Hey all,
As it states, we still aren't sure whether the Seafire will be used. WE have been considering the users with the less powerful systems and 56K modems, and clipper and I are busy trying to decide which aircraft to use. Not to worry, we should reveal soon, and we hope it all runs smoothly for you (pun intended Cheesy)

Now, let's see your flying skills at the course!

hey, you removed the seafire!!! Cry
I just gave her a ride, and she is definitively good, more my stuff than the extra, too sensible on the controls...
but it's my feelings...
anyway, we will "race" with the kingair!!I already see the screenshots, with an inverted kingair few feets over the runway... Wink

Okay, all three defaults!  That does make life easier for the repaints too.

I can't find a Comet repaint kit, does one exist?  I'm exploring the bitmaps now, finding out which bit goes where and labelling everything I find.  I'll post the results when I'm finished, for those who want to do their own repaints.

Thanks for changing the Seafire guys - for the people who don't have FPS issues it's fine, but if your pc is a bit on the slow side then the Seafire is a major handicap.

When we all took off from Innsbruck I applied full power at the same time as everyone else, but after 3 or 4 major pauses on takeoff - the leaders were halfway across the first lake by the time i'd cleared the runway.

Cheers,

TSC.
