Anyone else use this new application by Abacus? I have it and I have to say it's pretty cool for basic scenery. DougD

yeh i have it but haven't used it much. its a pretty cool little tool but eats up performance. i just downloaded the update and it seems to be running a lot smoother, but it still locks after several minutes. the one thing i don't like is that it won't display rwy12 libraries correctly. hanger doors end up 20ft above the hanger, tower windows get misplaced, all sorts of things get screwed up.

Yes, I have just been trying it out myself. When I read the write up I thought I must buy this now, luckily they provide a trial version, which I downloaded.
The concept behind the program, dropping objects in to your scenery visualy in real time must be every airport designers dream! The problem is, for a commercial program, it is a dog to use. The interface is terrible, it hangs regularly and the objects libraries, apart from a few exceptions are poor. Most would be more at home in FS98.
As already said, it is a shame you cannot access RWY12 libraries but there may be a work round for this.
I think Abacus should have put a lot more thought into this program before releasing it, at the moment it performs like a poor beta.
There are some really excellant free programs out there that are a joy to use. AFCAD for one, however I know I must not be the only one who is waiting for a stand alone program that combines the best of all the programs in one package, it is very fragmented at the moment.
I am sure if there is a program out there I have missed you will tell me about it, but it would be nice to here what combinations people are using at the moment and their likes and dislikes.
Once again, a big thank you to Abacus for providing a trial version!

just so you know, those landmarks they're talking about can ONLY BE PLACED IN THEIR ORIGINAL CITY. I didn't read the fine print before I bought it so when it came to making a nice terminal out of my favorite "pieces" of other airports, it wouldn't work. You can't take a terminal out of ATL and put it in another city in GA. Only works in ATL. That's how all of those are. However, the generic libraries they provide have some use and you can at least access the global libraries from FS and 'mix & match' parts to make your airport. Its worth having, but the price is too high for the limitations it has. I probably wouldn't have bought it if i'd known these things beforehand.
