Hi, sorry to Krigl up the payware section but felt it was my duty to give a heads up on this... available so far at Avsim, not here yet...

...

Vista Australis, a freeware texture and environment pack for Australia.... so far I've just tried some of their 30 ish flights that come with the pack, here are some screenies I shot...

...

Combined with Andy Weirs meshes it looks pretty nice....

...

Features a handy switcher to appy the 'treatment' to the sim and then unapply it again.... some of the textures, particularly the sunsets are a bit... well.... you decide...might be my payware env stuff intervening?

...

It includes Sydney and Melbourne scenery too... Melbourne in my second set....

...

And best of all, these lovely red textures for Western Australia.... they ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

...

See the second set for Melbourne! Cheesy

Thanks for looking in, comments and opinions welcome...

Flying around the Blue Mountains are we? Wink I download the whole set of SimV meshes for Australia, added this on, and it looked pretty good. Problem was, it also tinkered with my UK textures, which made everywhere look really pale, and washed out. So I'm afraid I had to uninstall. But when they make a program like this for the UK, I'll be happy Cheesy

Thats right, the red textures look awesome! But as I rarely fly in Australia and as it spoils the rest of the world, no chance!

Roger,
Did you have to download the .net program in order to install this as it says in the manual?
