Its a freeware water package available at simv.... I decided to switch to it after realising that that oh so beautiful silverwings water has some serious issues from high altitude...
(dont get me wrong, at low level silverwings is untoppable!)
So taking out the tomcat is a good way to check it out and have fun at the same time!
The only thing payware here are the carriers which are flightdeckIII...
Looks okay at this level, not quite silverwings but allright
... okay?
Still nice. The tone is actually more realistic now that I think of it.
Theres no big lakes of water anywhere above the clouds... the kind of realism is unprecedented!
Looks great on approach
The RIO made a good call!
And at night it looks great too!
Im keeping it! ;

Nice
But I still think most other water textures look too blue. The Silver Wings water (which I use) has the right shade to it, more of a grey, with the right kind of reflections...
Plus, I don't do much high altitude flying anyway!

Thanks for the comments everyone!
Saitek, great you pointed that out I will have to check it out!
The frames are great, just like silverwings this water doesnt appear to affect frames noticeably, it stayed where it was locked!
Cheers!

Nice shots Alpha! Especially that last one! Now that I have a good VGA I thought I was done being jealous, but boy, Im jealous! If only my parents were willing to spent 400 more dollars(we got the X700 for 100, rebate
)
Seeing as I mostly fly the DC-3 under 10000, I like silverwings water. (I really need to get the MAAM DC-3, default is good, but not great)

Will (I like the water textures also, but it does have a bit too much blue in them IN MY OPINION!)
