Hi, I watched the news today and they were talking about the way airtransport would work in the Paris-Dakar rally (this year known as  Lisbon-Dakar).

I was Amazed, they have to land in the desert, with a guy in front of a table acting as the tower and with all the dust, pilots can only see the rwy 1mile away from touchdwn!!

Wouldn't it be cool to have a package with the planes they're using, along with choppers, and also making sceney along the actual course of the rally? that way we could emulate the flights. well, apart from the dust, unfortunately...

Well, just an idea:)

cheers

You can change the weather settings so fog limits visibility to 1 mile overall, or just ground fog so the runway is almost hidden.  Just takes a bit of tweaking to get it right.

Making scenery is another matter completely, I have no idea how to do that (yet).
