Hi, first time posting in here... feel a bit embarrassed posting these as all I've done is change the colours, but hey, why not Cheesy

I just wanted to see what I could do with some (not so) subtle changes to MS9s already colourful world....

...picked some shots I liked and here they are....

Hope you didn't find them too horrible... Grin

Amazing how such subtle edits can produce such dramatic results! The first and last are my favourites. Great work mate, well done 8)

Just a thought, but I think the second to last may be a little too blue Wink

Ohhh my god krigl, you can edit too?!  Shocked Shocked

These are great edits, of course I don't know how much is changed from the original, but they just look absolutely stunning!! Shocked Shocked

The last two are smashing!! In fact they really compliment each other, the contrast is amazing.

Those are good!  That last one, well, I cant think of a word for it, but it has a certain "feel" to it.

I can think of a few words.  If he is landing,  its raining blood, if he is taking off, forshadowing.

Thanks a lot for your kind comments, other work in this forum took a zillion times more skill... but I like colour, so maybe I'll post some more in a week or too.... and perhaps try out a few more things... Smiley

You could well be right, was going for effect more than realism...point taken though, and thanks a lot for the positive comment!

Sometimes the simplest edits are the best.  Just changing colors can make a pic have much more meaning.  Colors convey feelings, so by making a pic a certain color, you give it life, a story.  Pictures are worth a thousand words.

Wow, Im feeling very prophetic today lol

I really like them, they look very good.  Its that subtile editing that makes a good screenshot look real.

I especially like the first one.  What plane is that by the way?

Thanks very much!!

I'm suprised at how many positive comments I got Shocked

I'll do some more later, in that case Smiley
And, I promise, I'll give the trickier stuff a go too, though I'm not expecting miracles from the results, its made more difficult by the fact that both my Photoshop and the manuals/guides are all in Czech, and my Czech isn't quite up to the task...

RitchieB16 asked about the plane, its the Breguet Provence "Deux Ponts", IMHO one of the loveliest, grandest, most elegant planes ever built...though some people describe it as "that ungainly blob". It may be available here, definately is at Avsim, check out the "Months Hot Files" section...

It comes only with default DC3 panel and sound, no VC, but I'm glad they released the model.... Smiley Smiley Smiley

Regards
