Now that we are facing a wave of great addons to be released Im already thinking about what the future holds...

--> The PMDG MD-11 (probably another year is it)
--> The Level-D 757 (probably another 2)
--> The Feelthere 777 (next month!)
--> The PMDG 747-400F (very close aswell!)

Im certainly going to get the 777 with how its looking, after sincere problems with the PSS version.

By the way, just to get back to PSS. I was flying yesterday in an A330 from Hong Kong to Sepang. FMC fully planned, SIDS and STARS included and everything perfect. Take-off, positive rate of climb, gear up, passing 500 engage autopilot... then the airbus pulls up at probably 60° for about 30 seconds before climbing normally as expected by the MCDU... pretty shocking stuff, after all those flights it still catches me off guard...  Roll Eyes

Does anybody have an idea of when the MD-11 might hit the virtual shelves, or any other good jet that is currently on the market (faithful systems replication please, something like the likes of Level-D)?

I looked into the Feelthere 737, its looking good and very tempting...  Wink

There was also this DC-10 poised for release, but if it doesnt have an FMC im not sure... I always found it sad that the Captainsim 707 didnt have one. The DC-10 cockpit I was recently in (DAS Air Cargo) had FMCs, so I would have liked to see that incorporated in a digital recreation of the type...

The deafult FDE provided with the PSS A330 is subpar, at best. Switch to Bob Scotts alternative FDE and you'll have a much smoother ride.
Also did you have any leg restrictions during the climb phase? Maybe try OP CLB next time and see if the result is the same  Smiley

DC10's are retrofitted with FMS, but I'm sure they must've had some performance system connected to the INS, back in the days, just like the L1011 had.
If I buy a DC10, it better NOT come with an FMC, just give me the INS and I'm settled, because that's how those suckers are meant to be flown  8)

Flying it the good old way Nexus, I appreciate that!  Wink
Indeed it was an OP CLB.... Still it behaved that way.
I find that FDE utterly strange, for example the aircraft doesnt localise untill it is almost perpendicularly crossing the loc beam, and then it pulls off a funky, horrendously sharp turn. Talk about flight envelopes...
I think I will get that flight dynamics you mentioned, pretty happy that there is one around!  Smiley
