Do any of you think that we need a new logo? (The logo = the pic in the top left of the page)
Maybe the mods could organize a "Logo 'screenshot' Competition"?

personally I like it as it is now. It wasnt that long ago it was changed to my recollection. And now people recognise simv through its logo.

Could be done, but I'd be surprised if Pete will want it.

I actually am rather fond of it myself. Also I don;'t liek change too much - if it ain't broke don't fix it. Wink

Mind you - if it is to be changed in a competitive way I'd have a go at comming up with something. 8)

LOL. Most of the things you see changed often are the promotional stocks. Usually on the ends of isles or towards the corners. These are changed by the companies every 2 or 4 weeks in most cases. When it ends the next one has to go in its place. Trust me, its a waste of space really.

The existing logo was put together as a temp thing when the site was revamped a few years back ...... Grin

.. I needed something quick to fill the gap & intended to change it within the month ...

We do need something distinctive. Simple & something we can live with - but believe me the existing one was slung together in about 10 minutes off the cuff as a temporary filler ...

Think Global. It's the world we live in.

Maybe I'm taking it too far but:

We/You should determine first: What is Simviation?

Maybe that could be the first thread.... something where people can give their input on what simv means for them. Take that and add your original purpose of Simv and we should get a basic view on what Simviation is. Basically create a Mission statement/Vision that could act as a base from where to take it further...
