Im working on a simviation repaint for Eugene Heyarts new Super Otter NG and I was wondering:  What should the Registration # be?  I want it to have some significance to simv.

Depends where it's registered. G-SIMV seems appropriate to me.

NRPETE? Wink

Seriously, why not just make something up?  There isn't much here that relates solely to numbers, so you're gonna get kinda stuck.

I thought about, perhaps, subbing the letters SIMV for numbers, but that would be 19-9-13-22, which doesn't lend itself to a reg number very easily.

How about the date of SimV's opening?  I'm not sure what it is, but I bet you can find out from Pete.

I was thinking the date it opened, but I dont know when that is.  Maybe Ill do G-SIMV, but the paint is kinda international and not really specific registration.  For now I wont paint it, maybe Ill add it later.

Still working on it, but heres a worded preview:

Two white strips running in the middle of the fuselage with blue in between.  Yellow top and bottom.  Empenage area is blue with yellow tips and white control surfaces.  SIMVIATION in big letters in orange on side, with smaller black text under saying "Taking PC Flight Simulation to the MAX!"

Wings, will be yellow, MAYBE with simv logo on top (logo being the thing in the top left corner of the page)

Floats will be white.

Now, I will do one "plain" version and THEN, I need a list of all residents (a little help, pete?) which I will then proceed to place on the plane.  If you are not a resident and wish to have your name on the plane, pm me and I will try  to fit it in.

Jake there are simply hundreds of residents. Grin But only about 40 (estimate) or so that have reached 1000 posts.

I may get back to it later, but for now, no simv paint Sad  Everything was too low on the fuselage, and there was no way to fix it

Sounds a great idea Jake - very nice! Smiley

If you do get back to it - maybe S-IMV or SIMV as others have suggested?

Smiley 8)

Reminds me - - We need a new logo - maybe we can run a compo on that Smiley

A while back I suggested that we get a new logo.  IT has to blow everyo other site away!
