Hi all,
Ive tried to post this on the PMDG forum but with no reply!! Hope you guys can help.... Here goes....
I purchsed the base pack 737-600/700. fantasic aircraft..
I decided to buy the upgrade pack, 737 800/900, this is also amazing. However the 800/900 had different panels. These seem to have changed in the original pack 660/700, but i prefer the older panels, they appear more modern!!! is their any way to change them back???
Please help, thanks!!
Andy

Do you mean the actual looks of the panel graphics or the layout on the LCD screens?

the gauges have changed. they are still on lcd display but they look like old dials. there are 4 dials where the attitude indicator would be. its not gauges for another aircraft!
thanks for your reply

Goto the PMDG menu once you have loaded your flight and you can alter the panel.

Ah another case of the infamous 737 display setup =)
But allright I'll explain it
The setup you are complaining about is used by some airlines that already had older 737 versions. By simulating the cockpit layout found in those older 737's it was believed to make the transition to the 737NGs easier for the pilots. This setup is called "EFIS classic".
But like Eno said, you can easily switch back to the PFD/ND format in the PMDG menu.

PMDG menu ....... hit alt once you have loaded the flight, if you're not in fullscreen mode.
