Get into them PLEASE.  Al Pitrelli is Godlike at guitar.  I've been going to the concerts for three or four years now, just about as long as they've been coming to Sacramento.  I have all the CDs, and any fan would probably recommend "Christmas Eve and Other Stores" as that is by far the best.  "Lost Christmas" is also good, much longer.  Hearing them play live is really an experience, huge light show, lazers, pyrotechnics, etc.

What bugs me is that they are just getting famous now, not for the band themselves, but with the playing on numerous commercials and radio commercials, and they aren't getting credit as a band.  Especially that commerical with the christmas lights playing along to one of the band's best: "Wizards in Winter".

If you're looking into this band, might I recommend:

- Christmas Eve in Sarajevo
- Mad Russian's Christmas
- Queen of the Winter Night
- Wish Liszt
- Christmas Canon Rock
- Christmas Nights in Blue (REAL jazzy)

I haven't gotten into the Beethoven-esque stuff, so I can't truly recommend any of it. Enjoy.
