Nice....it always perplexes me why that plane has it's wings so far back, does it fly differently to others....? The wings look rather short, too....kind of reminds me of a Starfighter....

The greater of two evils...

It flies a little different, due to the placement of the engines.
Like during approach for example: if you retard the throttles the nose will first pitch up and the (negative)V/S will actually decrease a little bit but shortly thereafter will increase again.
So because it flies like that, it's imperative not to make an excessive flare, since it's very easy to tailstrike this lady.
This was told to me by a DC9 captain
