Anyone have any of the Eaglesoft business jets? If so what do you think of them? I'm looking really closely at the Citation X.

Hello Freedspeak!
Sorry I did not get back to you a bit quicker as I was away this weekend.
I have all the Eaglesoft Jet Aircraft.
Hopefully this will help you out.
Cessna Citation CJ1
Great little business jet. I would recommend this as a starter if you are not familiar with how to fly these little power plants. Great VC in 2d mode and the virtual is very detailed. Easy on frame rates. The Citation CJ1 is a single-pilot certified, twin engine business jet.
Cessna Citation II/SP
One of my favorites! Out of all that Eaglesoft has out there, I have logged a few hundred hours in this little hot rod. I have gone cross the United States twice and done the entire Pacific Northwest in it. Great in virtual cockpit mode as it will give you a nice wide view out the front! If you are familiar with biz jets, this is a great aircraft for flying out of the major airports, and small enough to get you into some bush airports! Easy on frame rates.
Cessna Citation X
Aye, the Cadillac of the Eaglesoft line! This is one bad boy when it comes to the small jet arena! With 2 huge engines strapped on it's back, this monster will push you back in your seat and send you into the sky! It does come with a "lite" and "full" model for those of you that do not have a high end machine. This aircraft will have a possible impact on frame rates depending on which model you are using. Great aircraft, fun to fly, fast, powerful and sexy! As with all of Eaglesoft's corporate power plants, this is one jet that will get you to you meeting on time, and back to St. Thomas for happy hour!!
The Raytheon Beechjet 400A/Premier1 & Raytheon Hawker 400XP
Great little jets but will effect frame rates as these were the first models out from Eaglesoft.
My suggestion would be to go with the CitationII or the CJ1. If you like them, I would suggest eventually getting the CitationX as it is the best model they offer and is their latest in this category! The aircraft are well worth the money and a great addition to your hanger!
Hope this helped!

Fly2e,
Thanks for the info and great screenshots. Really appreciate your rundown of the aircraft.
Charlie, thanks for the review link.
I've decided to go for the gold and get the Citation X. My philosophy on buying anything whether it be tools, electronics, or whatever, is buy the BEST.
Thanks again guys.

Well the Citation X just blows me away. What an awesome aircraft. The level of detail is right up there with the CaptainSim C-130 and the Maam B-25 Briefing Time. It's easy to take off and easy to land. I absolutely love it.
The lady in the cabin is HOT! I'm tempted to leave my post at the helm to spend some time with her. And the maintenance girl ... woo hoo, maybe we can make it a threesome.

Citation X all the way. 8)
Faster, higher, farther...and the most "beefiest" engines smacked on it!
The only drawback are the avionics included, but get Reality XPs JetLine 4 suite and you're all set.
My instructor in real life, is actually certified on the CJ2, but he's so jealous of the CX drivers

Well the Citation X isnt the only Citation with beefy engines. Last month I saw a CJ2 almost knocking over a firetruck, right next to me!
The pilots got in serious touble afterwards!!
They had hurried out to the plane, quickly went through the checklists and started up the plane. It was pretty cold so they ran the engines up a bit while parked, but the gust lock had been incorrectly removed, so they couldnt throttle down, only up, And the gust lock can't removed unless the throttles are at idle. So they were kind of panicing.
The FO (a friend of mine) had just had his checkride, so he wasnt that experienced, so he gives the throttle a real slammer, and it goes up to almost full throttle.
By this time they also find out that there's a small Cessna behind them, and two men trying to prevent the Cessna from taking off vertically because of the thrust from the Citations engines.
The tower now sees whats going on, and quickly calls the fire department. They send a truck over to get in between the planes, but the firetruck is this small minivan (high center of gravity), it comes up on two wheels and almost gets knocked over. But then they somehow got the engines shut down.
Not their proudest moment!
By the way, I love the Eaglesoft CJ2 (the only one I have).

My god Ecko, what a horror story. That's the most horrific, improbable avaiation story I've heard yet. Not with the wildest imagination could one predict such a nightmare.
Well told Ecko and thanks for sharing.
