Im going to ask everyone to PM me their email addresses, and I will send them.. either that or jake will take half since he's doing the entries.

Remember, everyone needs a copy of every repaint, so it would save you, and everyone else, a hell of a lot of time if you simply uploaded the entire zip file to SimV. But you better hurry, Saturday is approaching fast! (though not fast enough Tongue)

I figured all the textures would be combined into one big zip file which would be uploaded to SimV and anyone who wants to race would go and get it when they can.

I've almost finished putting together a tutorial about adding race numbers to planes, pretty much 'basic repainting for dummies', it should be up by the weekend so hopefully all this frantic repainting shouldn't happen again.

Once ice sends me the stuff, Ill zip it up and email it to all racers, that way, I dont have to deal with uploading Roll Eyes

Unless you REALLY prefer that I upload it.

I just figure that you upload, you only need to do it once.  If you email, people are gonna ask you to send it again or say that their inbox was full, or something like that.

I've never uploaded a large file to SimV, is there some problem with it?

When you upload all the stuff in one file, put a big warning at the top not to change the 'title' entries

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

Hopefully, the tute will also include the details for removing existing aircraft registration numbers/letters, on default and add-on aircraft, and adding new registration numbers /letters of our choice instead...  Wink...!

I might be adding to the already difficult task at hand, but here may be an idea to think about. Along with uploading (or emailing) the textures, how about including an already edited aircraft.cfg file. This will do two things: 1 - ensure everyone properly edits the config file so all the textures work, and 2 - ensures all participants have the same parameters set for performance.

I know I can't be the only one who likes to tweak theirs for better performance (I mean... who doesn't want a 172 that can knife edge all day long) - and this will ensure equality across the board.

Just a thought.
