Was quite bored at home so I decided to do a quick hop between Luton and Brussels with the PMDG 737 in the colors of "the web's favorite airline": EasyJet
The route is just a mere 200nm flight.
A quick look at the briefing. The only thing that bothers me is the weather in BRU. We can expect some nice icing conditions because of the BR (brumasse, that's "humid haze", ie water particles) and the close relationship between the temp. and dewpoint...both which are below the freezing point. The rest of the BRU METAR reports calm weather, 5km visibility and No Significant Clouds (NSC)
Outbound on Delta-Victor-Romeo VOR
Descending into BRU, as you notice the airbrakes are deployed...stupid descent planning made by me. I knew the QNH was way above STD before I departed. But didnt really think about it until I made the switch from STD to QNH, and my altitude increased by several hundred feet
. I needed to lose altitude, and faaaast 8)
Approaching runway 02, looking good from here
Beginning to gently flare the aircraft
Touch down
Vacating the active, and another succesful flight comes to an end here. But I'd kill myself if I made one of those descent blunders IRL, ouch! But on the other hand...in IRL the approach will gladly give you the Trans. level
Thank you for watching

Great, clear shots. You should really change your touchdown smoke effect though. They have a great one at Avsim.

Love um........
She doesnt' like to be forgotten about on arrival......I've made many turns on approach to get down to a better altitude.
BTW......What is the program in your first screen shot?
I use FSNavigator......But what your using gives weather?

Nice flight, I'm also curious about the program you're using, but if you don't want to tell us, well fine
That fifth shot is great!

Very nice shots, but boy, do you have the wrong EBBR scenery! Check out Robert Buyssens EBBR scenery ( don't forget an afcad or you'll see drilling planes...

Sorry, I tend to forget about my threads.
The program is freeware, and can be found at Avsim, search for EUroute.
And I'm not much of a scenery guy, unless it comes to the airports where I do my IRL flying (I have all Swedflight packages). But I'll think about it Omag
