Here's part 3 of the Heathrow - Ismailia flight...in the FS2002 Avro York....

Previous set here...

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=paywareshots;action=displa...

We set off from Venice in very dreary weather, but Grandad was looking forward to stopping off in Athens...

...

The York had a range of about 4 300 km so it probably would have made it from the UK to Egypt without stopping but...flying all that way without stopping would be so boorriinnnggg...

Over Croatia the mists began to clear....

...

Though over Greece it started bucketing down...

...

We were pretty relieved to see Athens ahead.

...

Suddenly the skies turned blue and all of Athens lay beneath us...

...

...

...

We were so keen to land that we didn't bother with tiresome formalities Grin

...

My most sincere apologies old bean, British Empire business you know... go around, go around (absent-mindedly yet imperiously flapping hand in general direction of non-British Empire aircraft)... Wink

...

Grandad folds his paper and gets off to stretch his legs...takes a cab into town to check out the antiquities...flight leaving in a few hours...

Part four on its way...I'm curious how GW + FSAtmosphere looks at sunset over the Nile - got to go fly now Smiley

Looking forward to checking out all the new posts in Payware and Freeware later, haven't had time over the last 2 days....   Cry

cool new comp I see though  Smiley

Last set of pictures here....

Thanks for looking in, comments welcome

YOU HAVE GOT TO STOP THIS

You're making my shots look ridiculous compared to your beautiful shots  8)

There's just so much colour and so much detail to see, it's awesome!
