What was the name of the last great Luftwaffe air attack as mandated by Hitler himself? And what was the purpose of this attack?
BTW, not the V weapons.

Without looking it up - Bodenplatte - ramming attacks against the Allied bombers ??
Edit#1 - Looked it up; it wasn't ramming attacks thought the purpose was similar.

We have a winner! Boldenplatte indeed!
Hitler had hoped the Luftwaffe would be able to lend a hand to the Wermacht during the Battle of the Bulge by destroying allied fighters on the ground by mounting a suprise attack on allied airfields. All it accomplished was to attrit out an already thinning Luftwaffe.

You told him not to rely on others; to comply, he can't use Google unless he is responsible for all of Google's information.
