Hi y'all
You know me with games and puzzles....I'm putting to-gether an idea I had for an MP I hope you might enjoy. It'll be a race from one destination to another, with t+g's, obstacles etc. in the mix. I'm just working out the details now...planes, destinations, obstacles, route, so keep an eye out for the final announcement here at MP forum. If you have any suggestions on how to make this race more enjoyable, post them here..target date is this Saturday upcoming, hopefully at a time that suits everyone. So put on your goggles, slide into your racing jackets and let's go Mach!!

First of all, GREAT idea clip! 8)
Will it be a navigational challenge too? That would be so cool! Like the amazing race, if anyone has seen that?
Saturday night.. Maybe not the greatest time for a teenager, but hey, I guess I can miss one party for the sake of this..
By the way, please consider us europeans when determining the time of the event!

We'll keep the navigation skill required to a minimum the first time out, it'll be a fairly straight (but fast) line from point to point. All time zones will be considered, i'll do my best to accomadate everyone. WWII planes sounds great. As long as it's a single engine....more details to come as the week progresses..keep the suggestions coming. Now if we can only figure out how to keep Ozzy from kicking our asses...Time of the race start and course will be posted tonight or tomorrow latest. We'll keep the race to no more than 300km distance. I'm also looking for 3 judges to volunteer for the race. Judges will be posted in choppers hovering at each checkpoint to confirm the obstacle has been achieved or the touch and go has been completed. So if you're good with choppers and don't mind passing up the first race, let me know. If all goes well, there will be follow up races in the future the judges can participate in.

I was thinking if we all fly a stuntplane.....not the default Extra, it's a little bit too 'nippy'....if you know what I mean.....anyone have any refrences to a decent, CONTROLLABLE (
) stuntplane?
Cheers

The Real air spit...
We can see who flies it the fastest without blowing up the engine
I Suggest finishing underneath a bridge (without crashing) Or landing one a certain runway (like rwy 14L or something) WITHOUT crashing

I can't compete with all you young gung-ho fliers, I'm afraid...

The racers I see at my local Shobdon airfield are "Special" pilots flying "Special" aircraft...
The rest of us are just "Watchers" with our Cessna 152's, etc...LOL...!
Cheers all...!

How about the Pitts Special? It's great fun to fly, goes exactly where you point it, and is still challenging enough to land so it doesn't get boring! Available right here at SimV
http://www.simviation.com/fs2000props11.htm
Don't let the fact it's FS2000 put you off, it looks good in FS2004 and won't penalise anyone with an older PC.
