Hey, is anybody else having a problem landing the learjet. I can't seem to get slowed down when I'm landing. I think the idle is set too high on the engines.
Can this be adjusted?

How do you control the thrust?

I have a joystick with a throttle.
All the other planes work fine, but the learjet wont let the thrust go below 40% N1 when I cut the throttle and flare before touchdown on the runway.

Hmmm.. sounds weird...
Just the N1? Make sure you assigned the throttle controll to the main throttle and that it's set to maximum sensitivitie. BTW: If you want to cut the throttle you could always just press F1.  Wink

Thanks. I'll give that a go.
Also, how about these runway lights?
They sure are hard to see. Is there a way to make them brighter?

Thanks again.
Boy, I didn't realize how much cool stuff there was out there about flight sim.
I just got the FS 2002 recently. It sure is alot better than 2000. I've been using 98 forever. I may get 2004 for Christmas.
Now, if I could learn how to download all those other planes I'd be set. I'm a little slow when it comes to computers.

Just read the info on the pages. Ask again if you're still having trouble after that and tell us what's wrong.

Happy simming!  Wink

If you don't have any luck searching at AVsim; try searching posts in this forum, I seem to remember someone asking a similar question about rwy lights before, and you may find that someone gave a solution

Thank you.
I've downloaded some planes succesfully.
I saw a scenery download, but it looks way to complicated for me right now. It may solve the light problem. A couple of the planes I downloaded are missing the guages and control panels, I just use the ones that worked and show everything.
