Okay all,
What music do you want played at your wedding (if you're not already married, of course.
)
Me: "Too Much Heaven" by the Bee Gees.
I apologise if this has been done before, but oh well......
Cheers

The only song from our wedding that I can remember being played was "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles. Apparently there were 4 others but I can't remember as I was a tad busy trying not to soil myself at the time
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

One of the songs that would be played would probably be:
Dire straits - Romeo and Juliet

I rather like that myself. Don't recall the words offhand but it might not be too approriate for a wedding.
Can't remember the music we chose for my wedding but my brother wanted A Whiter Shade of Pale which should have sounded very nice on a church organ. The problem was that the organist didn't know it & played Air on a G String instead. This would have been fine but he happened to be a pretty useless organist & it was hardly recognisable. The guests found his efforts either amusing or embarrassing which rather spoiled the moment.

hmm..no plans of getting married anytime soon.....but being a musician there is going to be only one song that I really want to have in my wedding and that will be the song that I write specifically for that person/day..

most of the lyrics might not be appropriate for a wedding, but i think these would:
Quote:
Juliet
the dice were loaded from the start and our bets
and you exploded into my heart
Thats what love sounds like to me, and i think vickie would say the same aswell as thats a song that she listens to all the time.....
Nemo..... runs off to play the song on the piano......

Never thought about what kind of music to have played when I got married.
If some girl was crazy enough to even think about getting into a relationship with me, proposing while flying, and asking to have the ceremony while flying would probably end it
I can just imagine it....
Me: ATC, Cessna xxx request permission for marriage
ATC: Cessna xxx, you are cleared for marriage. Advise when ready for ceremony
Me: ATC, cessna xxx, ready for ceremony.
At the end......
ATC: Cessna xxx, i now pronounce you and your co-pilot married (or something like that. I can't remember how it's worded ???)
It's been almost 6 years since I've been to a wedding, so I can't remember everything that's said in a ceremony.
yep, I think I ruined all chances of ever getting into a relationship, or getting married

Not planning on ever getting "marred", but if I do it would mean a lot to me if the bride entered with Bo Diddley's "Pretty Thing" playing in the background... I find that to be a very romantic song. And it rocks...
Maybe if I find a woman who understands that I'll marry her...
Note: "Pretty" is pronounced "purty" when he sings it...
You pretty thing
Let me buy you a wedding ring
Let me hear the choir sing
Oh you pretty thing
You pretty thing
Let me walk you down the aisle
Darling, it's where our love is found
Oh you pretty thing
Let me kiss you gentle
Squeeze and hold you tight
Let me give all my love
The rest of my life
You pretty thing
Let me hold you by my side
And become my blushing bride
You pretty thing
Pretty thing
Let me dedicate my life
You will always be my wife
Oh you pretty thing
