I was flying about 70 miles West of DFW and saw a 172 flying along .  I decided to follow him to see where he was going .  It was N5390 and leveled at 5,500ft. on a hdg. of 45-50 degrees .  I followed him over 2 hrs. and gave up .   Thought these planes made circuits of some sort unless they say they are departing to Las Vegas or somewhere else far off ????  I had not heard any communications from him so had no idea where they intended for this one to go .  I followed one the other day and it landed at Alliance .
Thanks ,
Jamie

Hi,

If you have the label number of this plane + time ... you can search in TTOOLS / Flightplans and look into the more than twentythousand flightplans to find this plane.
Then you can see his departure and destination.
Unless there is another easier way, hà.

Success. José.

T Tools is a program you can download that gives you loads of extra AI traffic and lets u create your own flightplans.  If you search the forum you'll find loads of posts giving overviews of it,  and there is also a dedicated TTools forum.

HI Hagar ,
I was unaware of that section .  I would hop right on all of that except my PC is slowed even with 100% default ATC .  Seems there would be some place within FS2002 that would have the flight plans listed , unless it is mostly  just random ????
Thanks ,
Jamie

Ah well. Bear it in mind if & when you get that new PC. Wink
Detailed flight plans for the aircraft used as AI Traffic are all listed in the FS2002 (& FS9) database. Once you understand how it's done these can be edited with TTools & new ones added to suit yourself. You can also create flight plans for any airport in FS including addons. Many new scenery files include ready-made flight plans for the AI traffic. I once created a small local airstrip that wasn't listed in FS2002 & filled it & the surrounding air with vintage light aircraft buzzing around much as they do in real life.
