Hi to all,
  I recently upgraded to win/XP & a new comp with a RadeonX300 SE 128 MB hyper Memory.
The stock panels are ok, but the 3rd party panels will have a black screen where you would normally look out & see the runway ?
Everything else is fine , runs good & loads good.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

                                                       Thank you /OTTO

Hi OTTO. Not sure it will fix it but you might like to read my CFS1 Panel Clinic. http://www.simviation.com/lair/CFSpc.htm
Try the COMBATFS.CFG tweak first.

Hagar,
         Many Thanks !
The config file done the trick.
I knew of your panel tutorial , but I guess I just panicked  heh heh.
I now have a print out to keep handy & a reminder.
Once again the forum has saved the day !
Thanks again for your help & willingness to share the knowledge of what I consider a great hobby & past time.
Best wishes to you & yours for the upcoming holidays !

Having just reinstalled CFS after a while, I was having that problem with the WW1 planes (my preference) as well. Fixed with the first method.

Thanks from me, too.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm delighted that little tweak fixed it for you. Wink

Strange that I never had this problem myself. My CFG entry is already as shown in the example in my Panel Clinic. I've reinstalled CFS1 many times over the years & also installed it on several different PCs as I've updated them. I purchased CFS1 soon after it was released so I can only assume that later editions install slightly differently.
