yesterday. Never a big fan a Neil Young's solo work, though. Bad lyricist in my opinion, but wrote some powerful stuff with CSN&Y.

I just bought "So Far."
Yeah, but some of his solo stuff is cool. The best stuff came from the band though

"Cinimon Girl", "Heart of Gold", "Old Man"... Thats about it for Neil Young songs that I enjoy. Young's a great guitar player and I enjoy his music, but his voice is a little annoying and most of his lyrics are terrible... "My My Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)" is a perfect example of what I mean.. But for some reason I'm starting to appreciate his stuff more and its making me angry.

This means you are learning. Sure some of his stuff is bad, but theres still alot of good. He must be doing something right if we continue to talk about him

lol. Don't get me wrong, I love listening to new types of music and musicians, expanding my horizons. Dable this, dable that. Finding something new I can groove to is always nice.
I don't always change the radio station when Neil Young comes on anymore... Different story with Styx though.

Well Sock, I would hardly call this new although their music might be new to some of the younger fans. I can remember when Graham Nash left the Hollies back in 1968, the year I got married, to form a new supergroup with David Crosby (ex-Byrds) & Stephen Stills (ex-Buffalo Springfield) that was to become Crosby, Stills & Nash. Supergroups were all the rage then. Their first album had some interesting songs on it but I was never a great fan. Neil Young, also ex-Buffalo Springfield joined later. Like many of these so-called supergroups they had their ups & downs. Brief history of the band here.

PS. The Hollies carried on after Nash left & they were still successful with a couple of their biggest hits being recorded after his departure. The Hollies are still touring now with at least 3 of the original members. I last saw them live in my home town a couple of years ago.

New to me I mean.
I know all about that. Rock n' Roll from that period of time is what I love. It must have been amazing to live through it.

It is not really new to me, I have heard their stuff on the radio before this. Although it seems I am only now discovering it.

I'm only 21 years old and yes, I know them! In fact, I love them! This thanks to a Dutch radio station that only plays classic rock tunes...including CSN&Y.
The only stuff of them I have is on the Woodstock DVD where they perform Suite Judy Blue Eyes. Amazing how those three young guys with an acoustic session play on that dark stage...saying that was only their second gig!!! Wish I was there...

Yeah, that would have been cool. Except at woodstock there was little food, water, or facilities of any kind. Plenty of dope though.
Like the sig, is that a B1 engine?

Nope, the mighty P&W J-58 used in the SR-71 Blackbird. It has 6 by pass channels and was used for continuous afterburner operation! 8) It used by pass doors and spikes to prevent compressor stalls and bla bla bla...
