On Saturday November 12th at 9pm eastern standard time we will strive to complete the two following hops
Route segment 1
Route between 6B6 (STOW, MASSACHUSETTS, USA) and KBID (BLOCK ISLAND, RHODE ISLAND, USA):
Distance along great circle: 89.3 statute miles, 77.6 nautical miles, 143.7 kilometers
Initial true great circle heading: 182.0 degrees (south)
Route segment 2
Route between KBID (BLOCK ISLAND, RHODE ISLAND, USA) and KOXC (OXFORD, CONNECTICUT, USA):
Distance along great circle: 83.6 statute miles, 72.6 nautical miles, 134.5 kilometers
Initial true great circle heading: 285.4 degrees (west-northwest)
As this flight is going to be roughly 150nm I would once again recommend a high performace single engine aircraft such sa a mooney bravo, or a step up th the beechcraft baron, I myself don't havbe a clue what aircraft I would like to gly as of yet but will let you know sometime tomorrow.
As always if you are flying a addon aircraft I would suggest starting the flight in the default Baron first so that we see you as a similar type of aircraft.
For this flight we will be taking SAM up on his gracious offer to use the teamspeak server he and his friends set up for our audio communication device. For more information about the teamspeak server and how to connect please see the following link:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Multi;action=display;num=1...
IP address for the session shall be announced closer to time of departure
If you did not fill up on fuel before you left our last destination you will be eating ramen noodles for awhile as 100LL is still listed as $3.99 per gallon at minute man airport.
Please be aware that if you wish to stop for the night or for the week at KBID you are in for an overnight storage fee for your aircraft. The more nights you stay the more it costs. The manager has yet to call me back and let me know how much it would cost us to keep a fleet of aircraft there for a week...so we must press on to the next destination, forunately it isn't too far a flight to KOXC
BUT no looking at the fuel prices in KOXC at $4.60 a gallon, I'm thinking it is a much better idea to fill up ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!
For general questions please refer to the general question thread:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Multi;action=display;num=1...
Hope to see you there,
Jared

I think I just figured out why I was having connection problems.
It turns out that, since I have two routers [one from Vonage and the other from Cebridge] and I had both of them on for about several months straight and in constant use, all I had to do was simply turn both of them OFF by unplugging the power cord - wait ten to fifteen minutes - and turn them back ON.
Since then, my connection worries have disappeared. Go figure.

Are you sure that the IP is correct? If so, what port are you on?

Ooooh Kaaay
Now something is definitely wrong.
I don't see any sessions being detected by FS9, I have all ports opened, I'm on the right port, Firewalls are down, I still can't connect.
I'm getting tired of missing all the action because of this. This just can't be right. It doesn't make any sense. It's almost as if the IP address doesn't even exist. ???
