We all know that this time will come
so what number would you play at your funeral?
Mine would be, no doubt, Another one bites the dust - Queens!

Exactly:) Have a happy fun party is all I ask. I'd prefer it if people were happy remembering me.

I would prefer some slow gothic stuff like Type O Negative, and maybe some Midnight Syndicate or Le'rue Delashay.

I suppose playing Queen's "Who wants to live forever" would be a little futile by that point...

I read somewhere that a reasonably large percentage of the population would like "The Show must go on" by Queen played. Great song! - Am I beginning to see a pattern here?

well while im at my last moments, id probably listen to my highschool marching band music, unless i happen to find college marching music better (which is likely).
at my funeral...
wow... i've been sitting here for about 10 minutes thinking about it.
(7 1/2 millions years later)
i have the answer.
the answer to the great question is: some song by an artist named T.N. but i have no idea that the song name is.

Actually, I would prefer to be buried at sea.

How about the good ol' Funeral March?
Although the more you could throw people off the better. So perhaps Peanut Butter Jelly Tyme by DJ Chipman.
I'm not much fun, but I'd hate to have people bored at my funeral. 8) If they don't like it, well, I'll see you in-

Just a Closer Walk- Played by a traditional New Orleans band. Great song, starts out like a hymn, then it breaks into some serious dixie.
Other than that, I really don't care. No organ church crap. "All Along The Watchtower" would be cool, but probably not appreciated. Probably some somber old Dylan song.

Answered this before, but here it is again:"The Universe Song" from Monty Python's
The Meaning of Life
:
Just remember that your standing on a planet that's evolving,
and revolving at nine hundred miles an hour...
That's orbiting at ninety miles a second, so it's reckoned,
the sun that is the source of all our power.
The sun and you and me, and all the stars that we can see,
are moving at a million miles a day.
in an outer spiral-arm at forty thousand miles an hour
of the galaxy we call the Milky Way.
Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars,
it's a hundred thousand lightyears side to side.
It bulges in the middle, sixteen thousand lightyears thick,
but out by us it's just three thousand lightyears wide.
We're thirty thousand lightyears from galactic central point,
we go 'round every two hundred million years.
And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions,
in this amazing and expanding universe.
The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding,
in all of the directions it can whiz.
As fast as it can go, that's the speed of light you know;
twelve million miles a minute, that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember when your feeling very small and insecure,
how amazingly unlikely is your birth,
and pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space,
'cause there's bugger-all down here on earth!
The choir should all wear Viking helmets and lumberjack outfits, and the accompaniment will be by a nude organist...
