Ok, I have flown the little birds, and loved every minute of it, and I can safely fly the stock 777, and I even have the Airbus 380, and fly it when I feel like being professional, and not try to barrel roll. (ok, ok, I tried to roll the 380 for *ahem*, testing purposes, and was not that good at it, I got it upside down and had to work to get it all the way back right way up)

But I want to try and learn to fly the biggest freeware commercial jet I can lay my hands upon. The 380 is a behemoth in the air, but is there something a size larger?

Why? Because I would like to look up, and think that somewhere up there, there is a huge machine, and I can fly it with ease in the best simulator on earth.

And they say there are no philosophical people around anymore.

I am not asking you all to find the plane, just give me the name, and I will find it, I just have no idea which one is biggest. I am a fairly independent guy, and I do my best to complete my own searches, I just don't know which jet is bigger in this case.

I have to say, I haven't asked many questions here, but the info has been top notch. Thanks for that.  Grin

Well, the largest plane ever flown was the spruce goose.  The largest plane ever flown more than once was the An-225
