Testing role? Not a great move when he could be earning millions in Indycar but at least he's going to be first in line for a first team role in 07 if he takes it.

I imagine your reasoning is entirely correct. Sad to see even a proven championship winner is having to do the "dirty" work to get a drive. 10 years ago he'd have been chased like hell and walked straight into a drive...

Shame Williams didn't bite the bullet, instead favouring a driver who they haven't preferred to others in previous seasons...
