On Saturday October 29th at 9pm eastern standard time we will fly between KMPV (BARRE/MONTPELIER, VERMONT, USA) and KBML (BERLIN, NEW HAMPSHIRE, USA)

Distance along great circle: 73.1 statute miles, 63.5 nautical miles, 117.6 kilometers
Initial true great circle heading: 68.9 degrees (east-northeast)

Because this flight is such a short one I would recommend a small single engine aircraft such as the superb Luscombe by Bill Lyons for the night.

As always if you are flying a addon aircraft I would suggest starting the flight in the default king-air so that we see you as a  similar type of aircraft.

For this flight we will be taking SAM up on his gracious offer to use the teamspeak server he and his friends set up for our audio communication device. For more information about the teamspeak server and how to connect please see the following link:

For general questions please refer to the general question thread:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Multi;action=display;num=1...

Please remember to let us know if you will be coming and give us a heads up your skype name so we can give you a call when it comes time to go flying..

Hope to see you there,

Well guys, sad news. I couldn't connect for some odd reason, so I have to wait till next week [if the connection works next week].

What made the problem so wierd was the fact that I could hear the folks at Teamspeak, browse online without a hitch, I closed all but one of my firewalls, I made sure I was in the right port [23456] and I STILL couldn't connect to the US Tour server in FS even after tripple-checking that there were no spaces nor any typos in the IP address field.

Oh well, there's always next week. Roll Eyes

are you running through a router of any type? Most of the time you still have to open up ports through your router to get through.... and sometimes even though those ports are closed you can still get in depending on when you login to the server...ie if the person in front of you is on dialup and your ports aren't opened it cold mean trouble...

Just thinking again...
