I've been waiting for a decent one of these to come along for a long time now. We haven't had a good Draken since FS2000 and I'm sorry but Ito's does not cut the mustard for me. This one from Alphasim pleases me very much.
Blasting off for an early morning sweep from some unknown location.
Making a very fast turnout with the nimble rocket like double-delta tearing through the air.
Starting the climb-out to get above this dismal weather.
Hard to think it could be raining so hard down there with such calm all around, even makes this aggressive looking aircraft seem calm.
Coming in for a tricky landing, the weather makes this all the more difficult. This is no easy thing to land with such a strange wing shape, stalls are sudden and deadly.
Hope you enjoy,
Pete

very strange, yet very cool looking plane. Im surprised it stalls so easily, I would imagine that you would need to pitch way up like in the concord.

4th shot is awesome
Great aircraft too. Shame that Ito's is the only freeware option. I'm not really a fan of Ito's models, they just look a little too plastic to me.

Well worth the moolah if you ask me, but I've allways been a fan of the Draken.
Jakemaster, it's not exactly that it stalls easily because in fighting mode the A/B usually has enough thrust to keep it flying. When landing a fairly high speed of approach is needed, and when this thing does stall it does it big time.
Oh and Alan we should fly together, it's been ages since we talked on MSN, if you could PM your addy I'll get to contacting you.
