Well, I've been trying to look high and low for any tutorials regarding parts of a visual model that dissappear and reappear during engine shut-off and engine start. Example: As the engine of an aircraft shuts off, engine covers, tie-down ropes, and wheel braces pop out of nowhere. I am planning to implement this method into the Chevy visual model.

Do any of you know any tutorials that help greatly on this issue? If there isn't any:

What's the proper name tag is used in Gmax?
Are there any keyframes required for this particular tag?
If linking is required, is the tagged object the Parent and the pop-up objects the Children?

For some reason, the title of this thread skipped Part V and VI and went straight to VII. Grin

Fixed it. Roll Eyes

The first three shots reveal the progress of the interior textures. I figured I would go for a much darker interior because the black seat textures were the best I could find with a decent angle. To be honest, the interior looks better this way. The seats go in well, and the carpet and vinyl are more defined [thanks to brightness and contrast].

Don't mind the stretched look on the third shot. I took the shot with 0.50 zoom.

The final shot shows the new paint scheme. This scheme is based on an actual paint job of a real car. There are so many paint variations for this car in real life, I don't think I'll be able to do them all before Christmas.

In real life, the paint schemes are [as far as I can remember]:

Blue
Red
White
Silver
Black
Black and Silver
Gold
Vanilla and Brown
Tannish Gold

... and the list goes on.
