See Part 1 in other thread.)

Sure enough, as the sun set the free fireworks started up.  For about 40 minuites the sky was a swirl of color.

...

Then it was time to descend from the cruise as we neared Fairbanks.  Fairbanks had some high thin hazy cloud cover, but once below it, it was clear sailing

...

As we got lower, I happened to turn my head the other way from the direction of the aurora, and noticed the moon was rising already.  But I was pretty busy with the checklists at this point so I didn't have time to rubberneck too much.

...

Tiny bit of a crosswind, that made things a tad tricky, but I managed to walk away....so it was a good one.

...

A tad right of center but good distance down the runway.... so I'll take it.  Now to get to the gate as quickly as I can, get the paperwork done, and find some beer and a steak.

...

Whew........ long day.  I started early this morning... hop after hop.  Hey... but that's why we get paid the big bucks.  Now where is that address I brought with me for the Moose Creek Saloon?

...

Hope you enjoyed.  Flown online last night at WSPilots server.

best,

.....................john
