How do you all fancy a bit of fun flying this week before we do the next part of the Uk Tour on Thursday???
The destination for the flight will probably be either in the Uk, Europe or the U.S.A depending on where we all would like to fly???
As for the aircraft, anything goes Grin Grin Grin,

Hope to see you all there again, i.p will be the WSPilots Yellowstone server (23458), i'll post the I.P Tommorrow..........

And anyone who wants to have a bit of fun mixed in with some serious flying is welcome to join...... *flys under the eiffel tower in a AN225*..........

James,

Go to the WSPilots website and read the Forum stuff on opening the correct ports.  It is described well there.  And read the sticky threads in this forum about opening ports.

This is one of the prime issues for having problems on multiplayer.  It causes people to not be able to connect to a session, and also for people in a session to get suddenly "kicked".

The port situation is a real bug in fs2004....and if you look at the posts from DS (site admin) on WSPilots... Microsoft is involved in trying to solve it.  My guess is that is something for fs200X  Wink.

Fixing the ports correctly is one of the "costs of doing business"  for flying online and not screwing up other people Wink.

best,

.................john

I was on for about an hour.  Flew VFR around Juneau flying under the cloud ceiling.....about 700 feet  Wink

Saw Fozzer check in in the chat box for a minute... then he was gone.  I disconnected and looked for him on the 23456 and 23457 WSP servers... but no luck.

The 23458 WSP server had someone else on it (some NXXXXXX number) that seemed to cause me to get kicked a few times.  Then Tweek showed up ... and the other person suddenly disappeared in midflight.  The server was then very "laggy".

Tweek took off due to the lag issues... and I found an airport...and landed.  When I went to exit the sim....... with NOONE else connected..... the sim "hung" and would not disconnect.  Had to do the three finger salute.

No nemo.

I won't be able to make tomorrow's multiplayer.  Sorry.  Hope you all have a good time.

best,

.....................john

Look's like we were both having a little bit of trouble with the sim! My FPS kept dipping, awful for when you're trying to land  Roll Eyes. Hopefully a little more luck tomorrow!

Hello all.... Grin...!

I popped in last night at around 8 PM....
N100JB, (which looked like John B), and someone else was on the 23458 Yellowstone list...
I hung around for a while in case John gave me a shout...
..nuffin'...
So I thought perhaps John was havin' a spin with one of his mates and didn't want the "Troublsome Foz" interfering with the proceedings...  Cry...LOL... Grin...!
None of the rest of the lads seemed to appear so I logged off and sulked in the shed instead... Embarrassed....!
That "not being wanted" feeling is awful... Cry...!
LOL...!
Never mind, next time I am on I will shout very loudly..."HELLO. Is there anyone out there!".... Grin...!
LOL...!
Cheers Lads...
Catchya next time... Wink...!

Paul...G-BPLF... 8)...!

Ya gotta larf... Grin...!

P.S. Last night I was buzzin' around the Vinyards of Napa County, North of San Francisco with the new "Green Scenery Textures"....cool...  Grin...!
