Hey guys.
I go to school at a school which follows the IB International Baccalaureate Diploma programme. To obtain our diploma, we need at least 150 hours of logged CAS (creativity/action/service) hours. However, im not doing anything for creativity yet, so I asked the CAS coordinator and she said that building anything from scratch counts as creativity, as long as were learning something.
Now, Ive always wanted to try build something, but I just got a new HOTAS so I dont think I want to bother with a throttle. However, do you guys think I can build rudder pedals? I wanted to do this for my CAS and as a complementery assignment for my physics course.
However, I have no idea how to start and where to look. Is it even possible for me to pull this feat? I have a lot of time, about a year or more left to do this if I choose to.
PS for the service part of my CAS, Robert and I started a flight simulator club at our school, friday afternoon after school activity.
The International School Virtual Flight Organisation.
I think the first VFO at an International school in our country
Its pretty cool, two of my students today nailed straight and level flight, and all brought the cessnas down safely. It feels so satisfying! 8)
Roberts students crashed their planes!
Anyways, any guidance would be appreciated.
