I have SGA's DC 10-30 aircraft, which is awesome, and the best part is the passenger view of the wing when I look to my rear-left. My question is, can I edit existing aircraft (such as the default 747 or my plutocon) to get similar views? If so, how?

I don't know much about SGA's DC-10. Are the views you have in there part of the panel or are they an animated model piece?
They're part of the panel if the view is a flat "picture" such as you would get from a photo.
They're part of the model if there are any parts that move on it, or they look more like the exterior view of the aircraft than a "picture".
You can edit ANY panel to include exterior views. I think there might be a tutorial somewhere in the Misc section of SimV.
If they're part of the model, then you should have a VC that you can look at as opposed to the cockpit "flat panel" display.
It's impossible (nearly) to edit any model without the source files that the aircraft was created from (ie: FSDS files, GMax files, etc).
There's probably more to this, but I'm a little rusty. I'll get back with this at a later point.
Any other questions, please forward them to our complaint department. It's that round file next to your desk . . .

Actually, I'm talking about the POSITION of the views. For example, when I look forward, I'm looking out the cockpit window. When I look to my rear-left, I'm seeing out the left passenger window behind the wing.

Search for 'wingviews' & add them to your panel folder. Read the info that comes with them as you will need to copy & past some text into the 'panel.cfg' file in your aircraft's 'Panel' folder.
Wingviews are just a panel.cfg modification with the required BMP's. Nothing to do with the model.
