I'm just hoping it works on my computer. The series has been one of my all time favourate PC games. And this new one ventures into a cool new area.

That kind of game isn't all that intensive on your hardware. I'm running Imperial Glory on a system thats well below minimum specs and I can hardly complain at the graphics and gameplay which are both fairly good intill the RAM starts running out.

Just tried the Demo Shocked
I think with some tweaking i can get it better. But first impressions, the game keeps all the game play successes of the previous games, gives you much better graphics and just makes it more fun. Might have to buy the full copy on release.

What are the war ships like? Cause that'll be the deciding factor for me. Smiley

I didnt get that far. I went with a skirmish in Texas. I will try out New England tomorrow and let you know. Any specific side you want to know about? They give you the British and Spanish to play with.

LOL ok. I just had a quick look. It is going to take reaching the 3rd stage of development to get to the big ships.

No prob. I've got Imperial Glory to entertain me for now anyway. They've got some really big ships in that. Grin

I'll take a look at it.

I'm currently addicted to Empire earth 2, but I'm almost finished its lengthy single player, so I'll be looking for a replacement.

I am definately going to have to get this! I love AOE, but I am more interested in the pre-gunpowder stuff. Still this should be good.

Huge fan aswell.
I downloaded the demo but I found it to be rather different; where were my villagers?
Roamed around a bit but ended up leaving it as it was. The full version will surely comprise a tutorial.

Hi Tacit, there is still pleanty of hand to hand fighting, infact from what i have seen, its still preferable as the gun side of it at that time is pretty useless in all but the sharpshooters.

I've been hooked on Empire Earth the last couple years, so it would take a lot to make me go back to Age Of Empires Wink
