Depends on the plane and location. Takeoff in a DC10 simply because there is absolutly nothing like the sound and power that thing has. Where as i quite like landing in a DC9/MD80/8 as they seem to trundle along the runway quite nicely. I am not a fan of landing at any time as i have a bad back so even a smooth landing is quite uncomfortable.

Whether I'm the pilot in a 172 or we're thundering down the runway in an A330, I absolutely loooooove takeoff. There is absolutey nothing like the feeling of being hurtled into the sky at 180 MPH. And that's just in the 172!
(jk) Just can't get enough of it.
Landing is cool too though. Craig, if you have a bad back, do not EVER come flying with me

Since I'm not a pilot when I flying I always have to have a window seat with my face pressed up against the
window looking around. Night or day I love it!!

Take off - fun, particularly holding the brakes against power, then having fun keeping straight as the brakes are released...
Landing - busy, satisfying if done well, and the roll is quite nice as you can relax just a little bit...
Flying - fun, particularly if upside down and there isn't a cloud in sight...

I chose flying. Landing is more exciting, but it also means you're done flying pretty soon...
Can you add a touch-and-go option? 8)

A touch-and-go is when you take-off again right after landing without stopping.
I thought I already told you how to center your siggy, but here we go again:
(center)(img)url(/img)(/center)
And some people might think your signature is a tad too large...
EDIT:
I forgot... use [and] instead of (and )

Well, I've flew in two aircraft;
An Aerospatiale AS-355F-2 Ecureuil 2 and a Boeing 757. Both of them had pretty good take-offs, the acceleration is what is so good

Lol. Something the aircraft in your avatar is not renowned for!

I didn't mean to say I prefer cruise over takeoff and landing; I meant that it's all wonderful to me. In fact, cruise can be pretty dull, especially in an airliner.
When I'm at the controls, landing isn't exactly my favorite part, but doing it well is very satisfying...

I'd have to say approach/landing is my favorite part. Seeing the ground rush up and having a nice flare out and touchdown.
Although, I may have to change that now that I'm flying the Arrow... the procedure for the short field takeoff is quite exciting! Hit 56 on the A/S, then literally yank the plane off the ground, pitch for Vx while simultaniously raising the gear, keeping the plane at about 65 kts. It's much more exciting than in the Cessna's!
The day is always better when you're flying upside down.&&&&

How did I miss this? While I enjoy the whole flight I find the approach & landing the most satisfying part. Please remember that I'm talking about gliders & light aircraft (taildraggers) that I flew many years ago. Unfortunately however good the landing might be, this means the flight is over.
I have very little experience with modern aircraft & airliners are just another form of transport to me. The landing is definitely my favourite then as it means I've reached my destination.

I would have to say you missed an option in the pole........
EVERYTHING
8)
It doesn't matter what I am doing as long as it is in a plane. I get to drive at 100 miles / hr somtimes for my job with lights and sirens blazing..........that is a rush.........
but I would give it all up in an instant to fly for just another .5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Getting my PPL has been more exciting then anything I have done in my life.......including posting overseas in the military!! 8)
Hence the reason why when my wife and I are moved into MN very soon......I am leaving EMS for an asociates degree that includes a comercial, instrument, multi and CFI, CFII, CFIMulti...............I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have to say landing. But I mean the whole descent to landing. When I fly airliners, I'm quite annoying to my fiancee because I know just about when the descent will start and announce every step the pilot is doing.
I like being able to see landmarks and determing where we're going, which runway we'll land on.. etc. Of course, arriving at my destination is always exciting.
