Here is another Web where you can Buy CFS2 the best World war two all around Sim in representing that period on aviation history. You can also buy others Sims if you want. This way you can experience the total experience from the Eastern Front to the great Pacific carrier Battles of the war.

You will bee able to fly virtualy every plane that participated in the war with the help of this and other communities dedicated for this program.

Its cheap and I guaratee it and if you like vintage World war two aviation planes and would like to mimic the experience of what our aviator when through in that era. You must buy this program.

I guarantee it you will not regret it.

PS the only way you can experience what this program can offer is by learning to upgrade it through what is offer by the many dedicated communities.

Here is a List of most of the Websites dedicate to the improvement of your WW11 experience through this program.

Most of it has been developed by People who have donated their Time and Talent for the Love of this hobby.

This is not my post nor do I seek credit for it. It was written by a Gentelman whos post name in the Netwing forum is Jagdflieger. But I found it illustrates the diversity you can get through this program.

Here it is:

I think that CFS 2 is somewhat limited as far as cities go, but airfields, mesh (elevation, mountains, etc.) and seasonal textures are all possibilites.

Look for airfields by Xavier, Cees Donker, Ian Elliot, Jaxon and Maskrider. Install Maskrider's one time trees and library objects first as they are used in many of the add on airfields. Check over at sim-outhouse.com in the library section for all of the above authors as well as here.

For seasonal textures you can't do any better than Richard Ludoweise's 5 season set for all of the various seasonal landscapes. I think that you can get them over at either avsim.com or flightsim.com. Of course Pactex and Stiz's texture sets are also a must to have for Europe, the Pacific and for North Africa.

Land class is another area for upgrading the terrain and there is some landmark landclass being developed for Europe. The previously mentioned Richard Ludoweise has a tropical land class set out that is a must have also. It gets rid of the farms and rice fields on mountains in Asia.

Here are a few screen shots of the seasons and airfields in Europe.

1. Finland-Winter 1938
2. Spain-Summer 1938
3. Poland (Ostfront)-Winter 1944
4. Holland-Summer 1940
5. North Germany-Spring 1944

Here are a few shots of Asia with Pactex and the Ludowise tropical land class and one of North Africa with the Pactex desert textures.

As you can see, there is quite a bit possible within the confines of CFS 2 and while not up to sims like Lock On and perhaps the upcoming Battle of Britain II, CFS 2 still holds its own pretty well. In many ways it is still superior to the more modern sims as it gives us world wide coverage and with the efforts of many people, we can see the world pretty much as it really is.

1. New Guinea-Summer 1943
2. Burma-Spring 1942
3. Manchuria-Summer 1937
4. North Africa-Spring 1943
5. Canton, China-Spring 1938
