Gonna have to say LOMAC because of all the different things you can do, and different systems there are and also the fact that they are currently making another add-on that lets you fly Helocopters and maybe the F-16 soon, but I'm not so sure.

Ok, but I suppose harder = better, as it would be more realistic, yes?

I'd have to say Lomac

Seems Lomac is the more popular game, and it sounds like the addons would be good!

I'm gonna say strike fighters cause as far as I know it actually works. Unlike what i've heard about Lomac...

Seems to be the case most of the time...FS is pretty hard with all realism set to hard...so I would say so 8)

Strike Fighters multiplied by like, 20 bajillion thousand.

It's way more stable, way more fun, and way more customizeable.

Is Strike Fighters still available?  I still see plenty of copies LOMAC on the shelves but haven't seen Strike Fighters around since it first came out.

If you get LOMAC and Flaming Cliffs, everything runs nice and smooth.  I've had it since May or June and never had a problem.

The difficulty is scalable also, you can set easy radar and things like that so it leans more toward the arcade side if you want it to.

I can't say anything about Stirke Fighters though, I haven't tried it, though it does seem to be a bit more customizable.

Also, it depends on what you want to fly.  Strike Fighters is Vietnam era (i.e. F-4, etc..., although you might be able to get add-ons) and LOMAC is more Modern Day to near future (F-15, A-10, MiG-29, etc...).

Were missing IL-2!!! Unless you mean the best, of just those two. IL-2 is by far the best Combat flight simulator in my opinion.

It's better than CFS3 if that's what you're asking.

Heads up.  Falcon 4.0 newly remade.  Falcon 4.0 Allied Force.  Has the most realistic system modeling.  The VC and graphics are still very 90's from what I've read.  My thing about combat sims is that save for MS many combat sims have controller axis limitations.  Like most jet sims I've tried will not allow me to use a twist joystick with my rudder pedals.  So far only MS and UBI combat sims support a large amount of controller inputs.  That's what's keeping me away from LOMAC abd will keep me away from the new Falcon 4.0.  At least until I get definate answers from people that they both support many controllers like FS does.
