I found out yesterday that I can apply my flying lessons to get college credits. Once I pass the FAA written test, I can get 3 credits, two more for actually getting my PPL. After that I can get five more credits by basically becoming an A&P mechanics assistant for 40 hours. Luckily, my instructor is also a mechanic, and he runs the aviation program for Northwest Missouri State College. Maybe this is old news, but this is the first I've heard of it. You guys who are getting your PPL should look into this type of program.
