Thanks Ozzy. That shot came out pretty realistic.
And that shot is only 1024 x 768.... my current 17" LCD windscreen display monitor in the pit can go to 1280 x 1024. But the desktop monitor where I set up the flights (the FBO
) is the lower rez...... so when I hit the switch to transfer the video signal over to the simpit..... I often forget to change the resolution.
But when I (eventually) go to the digital projector in the pit it will be only 1024 x 768...... so this works out OK for the most part. Even THAT resolution in a projector ("beamer" to the UK types?) is currently rather expensive.
Luckily I now need a digital projector for my regular job...and a better than a "bottom of the barrel" one at that. . Regular slides in the art world are slowly becoming the "black and white film" of the 2000's. So the unit will do double duty.
Scenery in the above has payware FSGenesis mesh, FSGenesis USA landclass, FSGenesis Roads, and Nu Roads Repaver. Stock default land textures, some combination of freeware water alterations that I can't remember, and it's the freeware BAe 146-200 by Jon Murchison....that I fly in one paint or another about 90 percent of the time.
best,
...................john
