Last night online on WSP (today in  RT) I had to make the JAL Soeul/Inchon International run over to New Tokyo International.  Almost got cancelled since Soeul was socked in to 1/2 mile visibility with scattered thunderstorms.  But after waiting a bit for the storms to clear, we got off with only a slight delay.

Broke above it all at 13,000 after about 1/2 hour.  But the air over Korea was still turbulent with lots of clouds.

...

Leaving the Korean mainland behind, headed for about an hour of over water flight.  Nav 1 tuned on the SNE vor on the Japanese mainland.

...

Passing one of the islands off the coast of Korea.  Wonder what it's name is?  Wonder who lives there?

...

While the flight across most of the water was clear of clouds and we were flying in smooth air, approaching the Japanese mainland, things started to get socked in and rough again.

...

By the time I was on short final at Narita, there was low visibility again, and a serious crosswind.

...

Got the wheels on the tarmack....and headed off to Terminal 1.

...

Now for a nice lunch of maguro and toro sushi and a little warm sake.

best,

...................john

Thanks... although I was experimenting with AA and AF off....and I don't like it.  Got improvement in being able to turn up cloud draw distance from wherre I usually run it without poor framerates........ but the visuals deteriorated too much.

Still "tweaking" this sim after HOW long  Wink?

best,
