Is there any way to get rid of the default flight plans...especially those commercials...Pacifica, World Travel etc etc. I completely want to get rid of traffic...PAI and default. I would like to start fresh because I have most PAI packages and the installer...
Cheers,

Asher,

PAI has a default traffic "killer" on their website.  One for the commercial ones and one for the GA ones.

BAckup your traffic files first... just in case you change your mind  Smiley/

Check and see if you somehow have TWO of the default traffic bgl files....and the PAI uninstaller deleted only one of them.

Or... did you one time do some adding of PAI stuff and inadvertantly told it to add the new traffic to the OLD default file.... that now has the PAI studff mixed into the new PAI stuff?

best,

You could always take the default aircraft which are being used as AI out of the FS9 Aircraft folder.  In other words if you don't want the default 737 or 747 flying around in your FS world as AI traffic just take their folders out of your FS9/Aircraft folder.  You won't be able to fly them after that so be careful about removing them from the aircraft folder.

I suppose you could also go into the individual aicraft .CFG files and change the title of the aircraft to something else.  That way when FS goes to use it as an AI aircraft it won't be able to find the aircraft under the name that is contained in the defualt BGL file.  Sort of tricking the system into not using those aircraft.

For example:
[fltsim.0]
title=Learjet 45

sim=Lear45
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=

Change to:
[fltsim.0]
title=Learjet

sim=Lear45
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=
