After several test flights in order to test and learn systems etc it was time for a longer flight in the PMDG 747. Wanted a flight of about 4-5 hours, needless to say the flight from Hong Kong to Brisbane, Australia was closer to nine.

No time compression, just a long haul flight on a friday night/saturday morning...  Grin 3800nm, it is longer than it seems I assure you. The stretch over Australia alone takes close to 2.5 hrs....  Shocked

The stretch over Australia
...

The STAR.... GLENN1 transition AMB (Amberley) to runway 01.
...

The landing. The lights or flaps are not shown as I went replayed back 1000 seconds to the landing, after the aircraft was already shut down.
...

Taxiing to Gate 26.
...

It wasnt really about the screens, I just quickly tried to get something to share.  Smiley

I have never been a big fan of LONG haul, but i have done the occasional 6 hour long flight.  I prefer flying many commuter flights from my local airport to London, Manchester etc

Long Haul? what long haul.  I can never sit at my comp long enough.  I really only fly for a bit doing something somewhere, ocassionally small hops.  Recently, All I've been doing is flying the gee bee around the cleveland race course.  In fact, I think I beat jimmy doolittles time Wink
