Is there any scenery avaliable, that accurately models the macloop in mid wales? its beautiful and also great for low level military flying. Accurate Roads would also be helpful as its good for navigating it correctly.
Thanks guys.

The "VFR Scenery" photogrpahic scenery package for Wales would be what you need, but it is payware.

Its photographic, so everything that was there when the photo was taken is there  Wink you might see the tops of cars on the roads as your zoom down etc...

I think its on sale at a number of online shops, or on ebay. Make sure you get the right package as there are 4, covering all of england and wales.

It might come with a terrain mesh as well Im not sure, if not, just download any free one, or, if you want to pay, Lago's terramesh, but they the free one first. (The whole world is available  here from simv)

Also, it is VFR scenery, so its looks its best from around 3000 ft, Lower down the images dont look quite as sharp. If you want, I have some screenshots that i'llustrate this that i can jpeg and uplaod if you want too see.

These are from the "Northern England" product, by the same company.

Low over a certain town in Lancashire.. you can just about see where I live (no its not the caravan park next to the top two resevoirs!)
...

Low over a valley in the Lakes
...

Over the coast (no idea where it is)
...

These were taken for me, to show of some of my repaints Wink As I dont have any of the VFR packages.

Need to find a chart now to make sure I go to the right place - I've only ever been once... I've found the entrance but taking the correct turns is a pain! Grin

North entrance or south through the town?
from the north you go south following the A487, should be the only road there (assuming the roads are accurate) about halfway down it splits into two take the left option till you get to the town. then continue left around the A489 and onto the A470. Only drove it 3 or so times so might be wrong Grin Roll Eyes
