You can find converted CFS1 aircraft that will fly online in CFS2 - see
http://www.simviation.com/cfs2aircraft1.htm If you're looking for that war over Europe feel when online, you would probably want also to consider a good European scenery to accompany this (CFS1 scenery will not work in CFS2). You may also want to consider an alternative texture set for the scenery - those tropical blues and greens do look a little odd when flying over Kent...
If you want to fly offline, I believe there are also CFS2 versions of the original CFS1 campaigns (see
http://www.simviation.com/cfs2missions2.htm). There are a wealth of excellent European campaigns available over at
http://www.groundcrewdesign.com, too)
Note that while CFS1 benefits from the TG2 add-on which allows you to drop bombs (& now fire rockets!) and for bombers to aim their defensive fire online, CFS2 offers no such advantages. (For rocket-enabled TG2 - go here:
http://www.helcat.tk/ - you want the version 'with splash screen' to avoid the 'de-bug' chat messages)
Cheers,
