I've got 1024 Mb of PC2700 RAM, would it be worth it to upgrade to 1024 Mb PC3700 or something?

Depends. If you plan to overclock it, then yes. If you want more speed out of it, then yes. However I have three machines with 1024MB of ram (PC2700 PC3200 and PC4400) and I dont notice much of a difference. Only thing that I really notice is that the faster the RAM the better it responds to running at 90%+
