If you're typing it exactly like that you're using forward slashes instead of backslashes. It should be like this.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator\Scenery\
Duxford\Scenery\*.bgl
Where
Duxford is the name of the parent folder of the new scenery.
